Herts Chambers of Commerce are running a special workshop for businesses across Hertfordshire who are considering entering their business for the highly prestigious Queen’s Awards for Enterprise 2023. The workshop will be free and will be on Tuesday 9 August between 11:00 and 12:00. Advice, guidance and support will be available from the Chamber to ensure a winning entry.
The workshop will support you:
- to understand the benefits of entering the Queen’s Awards
- to- ensure your business supports the eligibility criteria of the below categories
- with hints and tips to ensure a winning entry
- with an the opportunity to ask questions from a panel of experts
The Queen’s Awards for Enterprise are highly prestigious awards, given in recognition of outstanding achievement by UK businesses, across the following four categories:
- innovation
- international trade
- sustainable development
- promoting opportunity through social mobility
If you win you’ll be:
- invited to a Royal reception
- presented with the award at your company by one of The Queen’s representatives, a Lord-Lieutenant
- able to fly The Queen’s Awards flag at your main office, and use the emblem on your marketing materials (for example, on your packaging, advertisements, stationery and website)
- given a Grant of Appointment (an official certificate) and a commemorative crystal trophy
The awards are valid for 5 years.
Applications for the 2023 Queen’s Awards for Enterprise will close on 6 September 2022.
