Music Growth Package is a multi-million-pound UK Government initiative designed to support the development, resilience, and scale of original new music. The programme is administered primarily by Arts Council England with funding from the Department for Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) and the National Lottery, it aims to back grassroots infrastructure, support artists, and expand global markets
Grant between £10,000 to £20,000 are available for artists, bands, producers, songwriters, DJs, and artist collectives to develop, grow, and sustain creative careers and practices.
Music Growth Fund supports two tiers consisting of £1,000 to £40,000, and £40,001 to £100,000.
It is open to independent music businesses and sector organisations including recording studios, record labels, music publishers, music managers, music promoters, music festivals, rehearsal spaces, and grassroots music venues.
Music Creators Growth Fund supports £10,000 to £20,000 and provides direct support for artists, bands, producers and artist to help develop and sustain creative practices.
The Sector Bodies Programme Grant supports £20,000 to £100,000 for established, formal, not-for-profit trade associations, professional bodies, and trade unions operating in the UK music industry. The aim of this fund is to help membership organisations upscale their operations so they can better support their respective subsectors and help members access wider funding streams.
