In celebration of a summer of sport, including the Olympic Games, Stevenage Borough Council in partnership with Stevenage Old Town Business and Community Partnership are supporting a Summer of Sport Fun Fact Trail to help residents and visitors discover the great products and services that are available in our High Street.
The Stevenage Old Town Summer of Sport Fun Fact Trail will be launched at Old Town Live on Saturday 3rd August. This Live Music Festival, in the Old Town is a celebration of the abundance of musicians, talented artists, bands, those who serve music enthusiasts from all works of life and a wider supply chain of businesses supporting the music industry, including its own music rehearsal, and recording studios.
The launch of the Trail will take place outside of the Old Town Food Centre and the old Waitrose with a Table Tennis challenge for those budding players or table tennis enthusiasts.
With over 30 businesses taking part in the Summer of Sport Fun Fact Trail, the initiative aims to raise awareness of the wider High Street offer to existing and new consumers. Not only that but it will also provide some summer fun for families, with sporty prizes for young people who successfully complete a minimum of twenty answers to questions from an Entry form. The answers can be discovered from posters in the windows of businesses taking part in the Trail.

The Summer of Sport Fun Fact Trail will begin on Saturday 3rd August and close on Saturday 17th August.
