TBAT Innovation Challenge is open to SMEs, start-ups and R&D-led firms developing technology-based products or services. The UK-wide competition is designed to support innovation in small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and early-stage ventures.
Applications are open to UK start-ups (3 years old or younger) and established UK businesses over 3 years old heavily involved in R&D or new technology. Applicants are expected to offer a technology-based product or service and demonstrate innovation.
The Grand Winner will receive £50,000 cash to invest in R&D plus a share of the support package to accelerate business growth and success.
There are two Runners-Up with £5,000 cash each plus a share of the bespoke support package.
The Innovation Challenge also includes a Rising Star Award. The winner of this award will receive £1,000 in cash, alongside support packages provided through the partner network, to help with business expenses.
